The QXD5000 utilizes a Sony STARVIS IMX 335 5.14-megapixel sensor to produce stunning high-quality front and rear QHD video footage, no matter the time of day.
The QXD5000 uses custom manufactured lenses for high performance. Additionally, a blue filter used in flagship smartphone cameras has been integrated in the lens to create cleaner images.
[1] A focus automation system developed exclusively for the QXD series is operated by a precise lens focus system based on digital programming versus being manually or visually verified.
[2] Minimize distortion and utilize blue filters to increase the amount of light. The advanced camera module uses a back side image sensor (BSI) instead of a front side image sensor (FSI). The BSI image sensor accepts more light compared to a FSI, but optical distortion occurs when blue colors are present in the footage.

The QXD5000 provides the best rear camera quality through lens optimization that accounts for tinted windows and the angle of the rear window. The QXD’s rear view camera transfers image data digitally rather than analog data transmission to prevent data loss.Our Dewarp image processing technology is applied not only to the front cam but also to the rear cam, eliminating distortion.

Dewarp image processing technologyTypically physical limitations of the lens will cause distortion at the edges of the screen. This distortion is called a fisheye effect.Thanks to a custom lens paired with our firmware, the QXD5000 can tune the image to compensate for image distortion caused by the lens of the rear cam.The QXD5000 has been tuned to correct the distortion and display an undistorted view.

The noise that inevitably occurs in night image quality is a major obstacle when recording in low-light conditions.The QXD5000 introduces a new nighttime image quality solution that goes beyond the existing night vision, which improves the nose reduction in low-light situations compared to our previous models.
Inconsistent power to the image sensor can create color distortion/image noise and makes it difficult to fully improve the low light characteristics of the sensor. These spikes in power are called power ripples. Our competitors set the image sensor power ripple standard to be within 3%. The QXD5000 raises the standard to be within 1% due to the IMX335 high-sensitivity sensor.
The QXD5000 combines a high-end action camera, a drone’s Ambarella CPU and Sony image sensor for best-in-class High Dynamic Range. The HDR function also automatically adjusts on the fly to ensure the picture quality is always top notch.
High-resolution video files require less memory space when using the H.265 codec, which has a compression rate of 1.7 times higher than the standard H.264 codec method.
Eliminates the need for manual formatting of recorded video files on micro-SD memory cards, extending memory card life by reducing video file fragmenting and corruption. Format Free Technology 2.0 also eliminates the need to convert files when viewing on a computer or smartphone.
The QXD5000 features an IPS panel to view the QXD footage with accurate colors from any viewing angle in no matter the time of day.
The QXD5000 features a Fast Startup, delivering unprecedented video recording boot-up rates compared to existing products.
